The New York Daily News reports that a Jack Russell terrier named Jack swallowed 111 pennies last week and quickly became ill.
The 13-year-old pooch's owner rushed him to a Manhattan
That's when dog doctors put Jack under anesthesia and methodically removed all 111 coins. The zinc from the coins could be lethal.
The dog's owner told the newspaper his best friend is back to his normal self, driving him crazy.
SURVEY REVEALS THE MOST IRRITATING FACEBOOK FRIENDS
A survey from SweatBand.com finds out what really grinds Facebook users' gears. The survey covered nearly two-thousand people, and found that 53-percent said they were most irked by friends on the social network who boast about their diet and exercise regime, and 45-percent said those who shared every meal were most annoying. Additionally, 42-percent said cryptic status writers made them grit their teeth, with 37-percent saying that game-inviters were most annoying, and 36-percent saying proud parents were most irritating. SweatBand.com's Maz Darvish said, "Whilst social media has given us a great way to keep in touch, it's also given us another way to bombard people with things they just don't care about." Mom Tries to Sell Kids on Facebook for Bail Money
According to local police, Misty Vanhorn tried to sell her 2- year-old and 10-month-old children on Facebook for $4,000.
Apparently she needed the money to bail her boyfriend out of jail. Vanhorn was arrested and will likely be charged with trafficking children. Wonder what she'll try to sell off for her own bail money?! (KOCO)
