Last night on American Idol (March 13th) the season 12 top ten performed songs from previous Idol winners.

The first finalist to perform was 24-year-old Curtis Finch Jr who performed "I Believe" by Fantasia. Judge Randy Jackson seemed to enjoy it but said "I'm not seeing anything new and I know there is more in your bag so pull out more for me. Show me some other sides of Curtis". Chicago's Devin Velez sang Carrie Underwood's "Temporary Home" and was met with negative comments from Judge Keith Urban who said "That was not one of your better performances and I'm going to put it down to just, for me, the wrong song choice.".

23-year-old Candice Glover performed a great rendition of "I Who Have Nothing" which was previously performed by Jordin Sparks. "You just destroyed and annihilated... That was actually my favorite performance that you have ever done" said judge Nicki Minaj. The final performance was from Amber Holcomb who sang Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This". Judge Keith gave her a positive review and said "I loved that song for you. I love how effortless you sing."

It's over -- Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split up, according to the New York Post.

In recent weeks, there have been rumors that Liam was stepping out with January Jones, and a few days ago Miley was spotted without her engagement ring as Liam jetted off to his native Australia. And now multiple sources say they've gone their separate ways.

One snitch says, "Miley and Liam are done -- it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him."

But other sources say the two have broken up before and gotten back together, so stay tuned.

As the happy couple plans their wedding, however, they've already pinpointed one person who won't be on the guest list: Emily Maynard.

"Probably not," Lowe said of inviting the woman who sent him packing on the last season of The Bachelorette. "You know, I think the world of Emily, and I want nothing but good things for her. But I don't know if it would be the most appropriate thing to have her at the wedding."
