Blake Shelton’s forthcoming album is called Based On A True Story…and it’s available now for pre-order on iTunes.  Blake’s first single off the album “Sure Be Cool If You Did” hit #1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Tracks chart in its first week of release.  The album will be in stores March 26^th.

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift are the first to accept invitations to perform at the ACM Presents:  Tim McGraw’s Superstar Summer Night special.  Performances will be taped in front of a live audience the day after the ACM Awards in Las Vegas.  The show will air later this year on CBS.

Things are getting ready to change in Darius Rucker’s household, as his oldest daughter is college bound!  Since this is the first time Darius and his wife are sending a child off, he admits…he’s a little nervous!  He remembers what college was like for him!  Eeeeeks!!!

No matter how much love Taylor Swift gets from the pop world…when it comes to her biggest idols – they’re both country music royalty.  In a recent Nashville Lifestyles magazine article, Taylorexplains that Faith Hill has always been a “welcoming and warm presence” in her life.  Taylor also confides in the one and only Kenny Chesney.  Taylor feels like he’s always in her corner and knows she “can ask him for advice anytime”.  Not a bad pair of confidants, huh?

The Eli Young Band’s Jon Jones and his wife are enjoying parenthood since their first child was born on New Year’s Eve.  Jon recently used an old-fashioned method of calming his newborn…and then he sent a picture to bandmate Mike Eli!  Jon and his wife put their little boy on the dryer (in his carseat).  Apparently he loved it and started smiling and cooing!
