Twelve years ago this week, Brad Paisley was inducted into the Grande Ole Opry.  Since then, he’s had the opportunity to be a part of other great Opry moments like inviting his close friend Darius Rucker to join the elite group.  Currently, Brad is preparing for the April 9th release of his next studio album, Wheelhouse.

Mindy McCready might have been working on a so-called suicide video in the days leading up to her death. A private investigator named Danno Hanks told E! News that the singer hired him to put together a video for a song called "I'll See You Yesterday." The tune was originally written by a fan of McCready's named Courtney Dashe, and was produced by McCready's late boyfriend, David Wilson, who died last month.

Hanks said the song helped McCready deal with the loss of David adding, "She said she wanted to put together this video to help people deal when someone had suffered a suicide in their life and God, she was literally having me write her suicide note. If I had known, I would have made sure someone was there with her all the time."

The day before McCready allegedly shot herself at her Arkansas home, she sent Hanks one frame for the video with contact info for a suicide hotline. Hanks said, "I thought she was talking about sending a message about suicide for David's death but this is unbelievable. She was sending me a message. I wish I had been more alert to what it was."

A spokesperson for McCready says that in addition to "formal family arrangments," a memorial is being planned for the late singer in Nashville by her "friends in music." No details have been announced.

A publicist for Mindy McCready has released a statement on the passing of the country star. Mindy’s body was discovered on the front porch of her Heber Springs, Arkansas home on Sunday. Authorities say she died of a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound. As part of the statement, Mindy’s camp has requested “consideration and sensitivity” to her family and friends at this time of “quiet.” The news comes just a little more than a month after her life partner and father of her youngest child, David Wilson, died of an unconfirmed cause. A few weeks later, her children were removed from her home while she was committed to a treatment facility for alcohol abuse and to receive a mental evaluation. She was released from that facility one week ago. Mindy’s two sons remain in foster care at this time, according to CNN. She was 37-years-old.

“It is with the deepest sadness we say goodbye to an extraordinary and gifted talent, a daughter, a mother and friend, Miss Mindy McCready. Our attention at this time is devoted to the needs and care of Mindy's family. As Mindy spent much of her life in the public eye, we respectfully request your consideration and sensitivity to enable friends and family this time of ‘quiet.’ To complement formal family arrangements, preliminary plans are being made by Mindy's ‘friends in music’ to organize a memorial in Nashville in the coming days. We will pass along updates and information surrounding details, as they are officiated by both family and friends.”
