Kate Middleton's Hospital Nurse Mourned by Husband, Daughter in Touching Tributes

After an apparent suicide on Friday Dec. 7 -- following a high-profile phone prank involving two Australian DJs and pregnant Kate Middleton's recent hospital stay -- nurse Jacintha Saldanha left behind a husband, two children and other family members still struggling to make sense of her shocking death.

Jacintha's husband, Benedict Barboza, shared his grief on his Facebook wall with a heartbreaking note. "I am devastated with the tragic loss of my beloved wife Jacintha in tragic circumstances," Barboza, also known as "Ben," wrote. "She will be laid to rest in Shirva, India."

Jacintha's 14-year-old daughter Lisha wrote a more succinct note on the social networking site: "I miss you, I loveeee you."

Her colleagues at King Edward VII Hospital condemned 2DayFM, the Australian radio station responsible for the prank which fooled Saldanha and a colleague.

"I am writing to protest in the strongest possible terms about the hoax call made from your radio station," hospital chairman Lord Glenarthur wrote in a stern email.

"It was extremely foolish of your presenters even to consider trying to lie their way through to one of our patients...That the call had been pre-recorded and the decision to transmit approved by your station's management was truly appalling."

WOMEN CAN TELL IF A MAN WILL CHEAT JUST BY LOOKING AT HIM

Researchers at the University of Western Australia found that women could pin-point cheating men in photos more accurately then expected. For the experiment, researchers asked 34-men and 34-women to rate about 190-photos of faces and rate the faces on their level of trustworthiness. Each of the people photographed had given accounts of their sexual history to researchers. Researchers say that women were only incorrect about who was not trustworthy 38-percent of the time, while men were wrong 77-percent of the time. Researchers say this disconnect may happen because for women, there are worse consequences of having an unsuccessful relationship-- such as the psychological cost of gestation, child bearing and child rearing, and therefore they've evolved the ability to spot trustworthiness at a glance. THE SURPRISING THING THAT COULD GET YOU HIRED

Researchers from Northwestern University asked 120-professionals at law practice, banks, and consulting firms what qualities they value most when looking to hire someone. Over half the time, employers said the valued "cultural fit." This translates into how well you fit with the company's energy or how well you get along with the interviewer. The study's lead author, Lauren Rivera, Ph.D., says this is due to a psychological effect termed "merit is me," which means most employers assume they are the model of the ideal candidate, so they look for candidates who are most like themselves.
